POLICE LOG for August 4 Bad Crash On Main St Bat In

first_imgWILMINGTON, MA — Here are highlights from the Wilmington Police Log for Saturday, August 4, 2018:A 2-car crash took place in front of Wilmington Builders Supply on Main Street. Road was impassable due to accident. Road was shutdown at Middlesex and Main, and Clark and Main. Police notified MBTA regarding gridlock. Both vehicles towed.  No injuries noted. (9:37am)A Pouliot Place caller reported a bat was in her upstairs bedroom. She was given the number for Wilmington Wild Things and left a message for the Animal Control Officer. When Officer called back, bat had already flown out of the house. (9:56am)Police were contacted over a dog locked in Tesla at Rizzo’s Pizza. Owner’s vehicle had left the air conditioning on. Vehicle has ability to air condition while being very quiet. Checked OK. (2:13pm)While police was closing the beach, residents were advised to stay off the park/beach with dogs. (7:58pm)A caller reported an erratic operator heading towards Tewksbury on Main Street. Police located vehicle on Old Shawsheen/Auburn. Operator checked OK. He admitted to cutting off another vehicle. (9:01pm)A caller stated her missing juvenile sister’s phone is on and they have been communicating. (10:16pm)Police were out with a male and female in a vehicle in the Savers parking lot. The female party will be taking custody of the car and driving the male party home. Wilmington Trust Claims 10000 A Week For Life Lottery Prize
